AUDIT COMMITTEE
- Responsible for reviewing audited financial statements, internal and external audits and investigations of the Commission, and overall corporate governance compliance. The Audit Committee has unfettered access to all Commission materials, members and staff.
EVENT COORDINATING COMMITTEE
- Responsible for identifying event proposals and overseeing implementation of fundraising and membership recruitment activities. The Event Coordinating Committee works closely with the Program Committee and Membership Committee in identifying events for new members and promoting the Commission’s programs.

- Planning and organizing the Annual Stars of Distinction Awards Dinner.

Golf Committee
- Plans the annual golf benefit, which includes a golf clinic, lunch, auction, day of golf and dinner. The golf benefit raises a large amount of money each year to support Chicago Crime Commission programs and activities. http://www.chicagocrimecommission.org/EventList.aspx

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
- Responsible for managing the affairs of the Commission, including formulating the general policies, programs and procedures of the Commission in between Board of Directors meetings, as provided in the By-Laws. Membership on the Committee includes all officers and three additional appointments authorized in the By-Laws.
FINANCE COMMITTEE
- Responsible for reviewing annual budget and financial reports related thereto, reviewing fundraising expenditures, reviewing investment and asset allocation, providing oversight to accounting internal controls, overseeing the independent accountant, and ensuring compliance with tax reporting and financial regulations for non-profits. The Finance Committee has complete real-time access to all Commission financials.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
- Responsible for due-diligence reviews of membership applications and recommendations related thereto. Responsible for acclimating new members to the Commission and approving membership application materials and processes.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
- Responsible for reviewing annual membership and making recommendations for officer and director positions.
PROGRAM COMMITTEE
- Responsible for providing oversight to all Commission programs and advocacy activities including Project Safe Neighborhoods, the Anonymous Crime Reporting Hotline, the Anonymous Public Corruption Hotline, and other initiatives of the Commission. Responsible for ensuring programmatic compliance with best practices and adherence to pre-determined effectiveness outcome measures for new programs and for reviewing existing programs against routine performance measures.
